Engineering is a vocation in which your combine science and mathematics to develop theories, which in turn can be made into new inventions. There are various different traditional categories for engineering, they are as follow: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. But as our society is making advancements in technology there are several new fields of engineering that are developing. Engineers can work in a specific field or in a specific industry depending on their specialty.

Engineering can be very specialized such as the NASA Lunar Robots and Spacesuits. At this time they are doing a variety of different types of research to develop a variety of types of vehicles to be used on the next moon landing. The prototypes they are developing range from human to robotic mobility systems that can be used on the moon. The vehicle they are experimenting with right now is a crew mobility chassis prototype, otherwise called a lunar truck, which will give them a wider range of mobility on the moon. This new vehicle has six wheels that move independently, which allows the vehicle to move in any direction. They are also working on adding improvements to this vehicle to make it more versatile. One such example is the bulldozing blade that will assist in removing soil samples form the moon. This is only one fascinating career option available to you, as this research goes to prove.
