Tools

Tools are the way of life. We have to use them for everything that we want one way or another. We will not be able to have the things that we have today if we did not have any tools at all. For example, no house, playhouse, garage, and much more.

On the other hand, without tools we will not be able to fix things that are broken. For example, we will not be able to tighten the pipes that are under the sink when they start leaking. We won't be able to fix bikes, walls, tables, etc.

Since tools are the way of life with us they too change over time. Tungsten is one of the tools that have changed over time. Tungsten is a metal commonly used for connecting two wires together. It also is a steel that has superior hot working and cutting efficiency at elevated temperatures.

The first one was used in the early 1900's. They helped enhance the properties of hardness and speed. During World War 2, America had to use molybdenum in place of the tungsten due to shortage. Molybdenum increases the hardness of steel. It also increases high temperature tensile.

Today tungsten is used in everything. It is used in tanning booths, to make guns and cannons, and can be used in jewelry making. However, it is still used for high speed and alloy, capable of maintaining their strength at high temperatures.
