If you are into building anything, you would more than likely first start off with a blueprint. Blueprints are the outline of the structure on what the contractor is going to build. This way you will have the picture of the whole object before it is done.
Precision machining is used in everyday life and the varieties consist of steel, bronze, glass and much more. In order to handle precision machining, you have to be able to interpret blueprints correctly. Being science savvy helps. One thing that is good about it is, if you like to build, you will be able to get a job in building that pays great. You will need to spend a lot of hours aiming towards perfection.
Machinists use blueprints to help replace parts and they can't afford for things to go wrong when they are building something. Precision is vital. You have to keep maintaining everything to have it run smoothly. There is a lot of work that has to be done piece by piece and you have to be able to construct them exactly as they should. Precision machines include, but are not limited to lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws and grinders, high speed robotics, etc.
Although blueprints aren't really made from hand anymore, the computer does the designing and the manufacturing. This is called the CAD and the CAM. Technology has really advanced and so has precision machining.
