Exotic Metals

There are many different metals that come from the earth. Some of these metals have been known of and used since the ancient times. There are still metals that are being discovered and studied today. Some of the rarest exotic metals have been identified and can be bought from laboratories for a high price.

A metal called Beryllium is known to be an exotic, rare earth metal. When weighed, it showed to be the lightest metal. Cerium is another exotic earth metal that is said to be the most reactive metal. Dysprosium is an exotic earth metal that is a metallic base metal. Europium has been studied and is the rarest earth metal.

There are more than 70 exotic and rare earth metals that have been identified and are still being studied. Some of the metals can be very toxic. Other metals studied showed signs of corrosion after a set number of days. Gallium is a metal that will melt in your hand. Hafnium is a metal that will burn easily. Indium is metal that is shiny and will melt under heat. Iodine is the least reactive metal found in the earth. Osmium is another exotic metal that has been studied and found to be one of the heaviest metals.

Some of the other metals found in the earth are either alkaline or crystalline. The earth is made up from certain metals that are made of gas and hydrogen. Also included are some exotic and rare alloy metals and toxic metals.
